• Night shift, 3x12 hours weekly, temporary travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries in the CVOR unit.
• Scrub for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases; circulate as required.
• Maintain adherence to surgical protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete documentation accurately within the EPIC charting system.
• Be flexible to float within the service line to meet facility needs, including call shifts and holidays as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri (compact license accepted) or Illinois with proper licensure in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of scrub experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgical cases; 1 year considered if experience is in a Level 1 trauma facility.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work rotating shift times, including nights and call as needed.
• Willingness to float within scope and facility guidelines.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred.
• Prior experience in Level 1 trauma settings.
• Experience with complex vascular procedures, transplants, or Whipple surgeries.
