Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond to changes appropriately.
• Recognize ECG rhythms, interpret findings, and act according to protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly according to hospital standards.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and certification requirements throughout the assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent and perm experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry.
• Ohio permanent license or valid Compact State license in hand.
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Successful completion of fingerprinting (BCI/FBI) within 48 hours of signing contract.
• Valid reference from a supervisor, manager, or director in the specialty.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent experience in a hospital setting with Med/Surg Tele or similar unit.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, acute care environment.
• Familiarity with hospital-specific documentation systems and protocols.
