Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights based on departmental needs, temporary/contract position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to adult and geriatric ICU patients with complex medical conditions.
• Manage ventilators, pulmonary artery catheters, CRRT, arterial pressure monitoring, and other advanced life support procedures.
• Administer complex medication regimens and assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy and endoscopy.
• Document patient care with computerized charting systems, including EPIC.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with all clinical protocols during night shifts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or compact state nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, preferably in a Level 1 or 2 trauma setting.
• Proficiency with vents, IV starts, and computerized charting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with complex ICU patient management and advanced procedures.
• Knowledge of pulmonary and gastrointestinal conditions.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
• Ability to handle diverse patient diagnoses including emergencies, COPD, ARDS, sepsis, and drug overdoses.
