• Full-time, night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), travel/temporary position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments using established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health status, treatments, and follow-up plans.
• Demonstrate awareness of clinical contingencies and delegate tasks appropriately to care team members.
• Maintain compliance with organizational competencies and standards of practice.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• BLS certification from AHA required; ACLS certification from AHA required.
• 1-2 years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months in telemetry.
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in cardiac or telemetry patient care.
• Knowledge of managing complex neurological, emotional, cultural, or social needs of patients and families.
• Previous work in a similar clinical setting or step-down unit is a plus.
