• Full-time, Night shift, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis care to patients with various renal conditions.
• Competently operate Fresenius and Baxter dialysis equipment, including cycler and CAPD management.
• Monitor patient status during treatment, including obtaining peritoneal dialysis fluid samples and managing complex dialysis procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and effective treatment plans.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures related to dialysis treatments.
• Follow all hospital policies regarding patient care, documentation, and equipment use.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or compact license in hand at start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of dialysis experience, specifically with acute hemodialysis using Fresenius equipment and peritoneal dialysis experience with Baxter systems.
• Recent experience with Fresenius T dialysis machines, CliC, Bibag, and portable reverse osmosis units.
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems, and comfortable using Voalte phones for communication.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with no onsite RTO allowed after booking.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) or Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN).
• Experience with challenging dialysis cases such as dialysis failure, infection, or transplant rejection.
