Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, includes weekend work

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for postpartum patients, stable antepartum, newborns, GYN, and Med-Surg overflow
• Support labor and delivery units, including assisting with the care of laboring moms and newborns
• Float as needed to Med-Surg and Tele units, assisting with patient care across disciplines
• Participate in staffing coverage, including onboarding and fills for staff FMLA leaves
• Operate and utilize unit-specific equipment such as EPIC One Chart, Omnicell, Philips Vitals Machines, Bladder Scanner, Medula Breast Pumps, Responder 5 Call light system, and Medfusion Pumps
• Follow safety and clinical standards, including adherence to AWHONN staffing ratios and protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years OB/L&D experience
• Active MN RN license
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Active ACLS (AHA) certification
• Active NRP certification
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and variable schedules
• Experience with EPIC EMR system or comparable systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Knowledge of circulating nurse duties in Labor & Delivery
• PALS certification (preferred)
• Experience managing a diverse patient census including labor, postpartum, GYN, and pediatrics
