Registered Behavioral Technician
Primary Purpose: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supports students with behavioral and developmental needs by implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA or school leadership. The role focuses on improving student behavior, social-emotional development, and academic engagement within a structured, classical education environment.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Certified RBT thru BACB.
- Experience working with children (especially in school or ABA settings)
- Knowledge of behavior management and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities

- Ability to build positive relationships with families and staff
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Flexibility in a fast-paced school environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong attendance
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans and ABA strategies for assigned students
- Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support in classroom settings
- Collect and track behavioral data to monitor student progress
- Support students with:
- Emotional regulation
- Social skills
- Task completion and classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and leadership to align interventions
- Assist in creating a positive, structured classroom environment
- De-escalate challenging behaviors using approved techniques
- Support transitions (class changes, lunch, recess, etc.)
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with IEP goals
- Align with a classical, character-driven education model focused on literacy and the arts
- Contribute to a structured, high-expectations culture
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff
- Support both academic success and character development
- Work in a collaborative, multi-teacher classroom model
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the classroom
- Ability to assist students physically when needed
- Supervise students indoors and outdoors
- Lift light materials (up to ~15 lbs)
