• Full-time, Night shifts, Travel Contract, 13-week assignment, 12.5-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown units.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and implement care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through thorough assessments and timely interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Support patient recovery and readiness for discharge with compassionate, patient-focused care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience in a similar acute care setting (IMC, PCU, or Stepdown).
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and related equipment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to float to other units as needed.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and compassionate patient care skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent experience in progressive care or stepdown units.
• Prior experience working with telemetry patients.
• Knowledge of Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Positive attitude, patient-centered approach, and excellent interpersonal skills.
