Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 4 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for endoscopy and GI procedures, including pre/post-procedure assessments.
• Perform portable/bedside travel cases with inpatient experience.
• Assist with screening and therapeutic colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, ERCP, EUS, and capsule endoscopy.
• Float to other Endoscopy Centers within the healthcare system as needed.
• Adhere to compliance and safety protocols, including passing the Pass/Fail EKG exam.
• Ensure proper documentation in the EPIC electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Inpatient and bedside procedural experience.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience.
• Ability to pass the required EKG exam during compliance.
• Must submit a full compliance file by the specified deadline.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with portable/bedside travel cases for GI procedures.
• Knowledge of screening and therapeutic colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and capsule endoscopy.
• Willingness and flexibility to float between multiple facilities.
• Strong understanding of GI and endoscopy protocols.
