Job Title
• Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift, temporary/contract

Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and nuclear medicine studies, in a level one trauma center.
• Cover multiple departments including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical areas, with potential for float coverage.
• Operate department-specific equipment such as OEC, Carestream, and GE/Siemens machines.
• Document procedures accurately in the Epic EMR system and ensure compliance with safety and department protocols.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling, including potential 12-hour shifts, and work independently in high-pressure environments.

Required Qualifications
• Current Illinois licensure or active application status.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (MR) or NMTCB certification, along with requisite certifications such as BLS and IEMA.
• Minimum experience working in a busy trauma or Level 1 trauma center.
• Ability to work independently with OR experience.
• Capable of floating across various units and managing multiple imaging modalities.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Epic EMR and department-specific equipment (OEC, Carestream, GE, Siemens).
• Prior experience working in surgical, emergency, or trauma settings.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and quick on their feet with excellent problem-solving skills.
