Key Responsibilities

• Provide intensive care nursing for adult and geriatric patients, including stroke and cardiac care.
• Manage patients requiring ventilators, IV starts, telemetry, and central line placements.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform bedside procedures such as bronchoscopies and PEG tube placements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, including ACLS, NIHSS, and BCLS certifications.
• Float to various units including medical, surgical, telemetry, and step-down units as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state RN license; compact license acceptable for Missouri, with in-state license required for Illinois.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current ACLS, NIHSS, and BCLS certifications.
• Experience with ventilators, IV starts, and telemetry monitoring.
• Ability to work night shift (19:00–7:30).
• Must pass compliance and background checks, including proper licensure and SSN verification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC electronic health record system experience.
• Experience in stroke, cardiac, or step-down units.
• Flexibility to float within hospital departments and occasional holiday/weekend shifts.
