- Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week, on a temporary assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care to laboring and postpartum patients in a hospital setting
- Float between units based on patient census and staffing needs
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and charting protocols, including Epic
- Support patients with LDRP experience, including labor and postpartum care
- Adhere to scheduled on-call and holiday commitments
- Ensure safe patient management with appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios (1:1 labor, 1:3 postpartum)
Required Qualifications
- Valid OR Registered Nurse license (pending licenses considered)
- Minimum of 1 to 1.5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, with preference for high-risk/high-census units
- At least 1 year of labor training and experience in LDRP settings
- Current vehicle for travel between multiple facilities
- Ability to work night shifts and scheduled weekends (every other weekend)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
- Ability to float between hospital units and affiliate facilities
- Strong clinical skills in labor and postpartum care
