Key Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging for diagnostic purposes across various body regions including extremities, abdomen, pelvis, head, chest, and musculoskeletal areas
- Obtain and process contrast images, start IVs, and run laboratory tests like I-stat as needed
- Operate imaging equipment while adhering to safety and procedural protocols
- Collaborate within the outpatient clinic to provide quality patient care and support clinical needs
- Float within scope to cover different X-ray needs and assist other departments as required
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage and holiday shifts, with schedule adjustments based on unit demands
Required Qualifications
- ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of CT imaging experience
- Ability to perform extremity, abdomen, pelvis, head, chest, and musculoskeletal imaging
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekend coverage
- Valid state license or pending license approval (takes approximately 10-12 weeks)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with fluoroscopy and enema studies
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience in an acute hospital or outpatient setting working with mobile and oncology patients
