Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures units within an acute care hospital.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage at affiliate hospitals if necessary.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including charting with Cerner and compliance requirements.
- Work a 4x10 hour schedule, primarily days from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Participate in on-call duties: one primary night and one secondary night per week.
- Work scheduled weekends every third weekend, including 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or active license application with ETA.
- Minimum of 18 months of RN experience, preferably in IR or Special Procedures.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or Red Cross only).
- Experience with Cerner charting system.
- Ability to work floates within scope and adapt to hospital needs.
- Must be able to complete compliance modules prior to start date.
- Must have SSN, DOB, and meet travel compliance requirements.
- No more than 5 days of RTO; must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in trauma or acute care settings preferred.
- Experience working in Magnet or Level II Trauma centers.
- Ability to work flexible scheduling, including block schedules if discussed with management.
