• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Interpret laboratory results, perform medication reconciliation, and assess patient histories including allergies and vital signs.
• Perform dressing changes and set up aseptic/sterile procedures.
• Collect and label specimens like blood, urine, and throat swabs; perform phlebotomy.
• Conduct telephone triage and handle pharmacy calls and patient refill requests.
• Support patients with neurological conditions such as CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and other rehabilitation needs in an inpatient rehab setting.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort with a patient ratio of 1:6.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care rehabilitation experience.
• BLS certification.
• EPIC EMR experience.
• Ability to interpret lab results, perform dressing changes, and conduct phlebotomy.
• Understanding of medication reconciliation, vital sign assessment, and patient history documentation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation for neurological and surgical patients.
• Familiarity with assessment and management of patients with neurological deficits and post-op surgical care.
