Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac ICU patients.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, ECG rhythms, and response to treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments following physicians' orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Comply with hospital policies and maintain certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in CVICU prior to travel assignments.
• Valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Willingness to work every other holiday and rotate shifts as needed.
• Successful completion of background checks, drug screens, and fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel ICU experience is acceptable.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with ECG rhythm analysis and cardiac patient care.
