Job Title

• Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shifts, 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and physicians in performing ultrasound exams and obtaining diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Obtain and review patient history, supporting clinical data, and ensure proper documentation.
• Operate ultrasound equipment, evaluate images, and provide preliminary technical findings to physicians.
• Maintain quality control and infection control protocols for ultrasound equipment and workspace.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergency or after-hours requests.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and adherence to HIPAA regulations during all procedures.
• Keep ultrasound logs updated with patient and exam information, and properly store and send images via PACS.

Required Qualifications

• Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• Ability to perform ultrasound procedures with accuracy and technical knowledge.
• Excellent patient care skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Six months of ultrasound experience preferred.
• Experience with PACS imaging and documentation systems.
• Knowledge of infection control and equipment maintenance protocols.
