Registered Nurse Oncology

Job Title

• Registered Nurse – Oncology

• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, rotating days/nights based on department needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to oncology patients with varied diagnoses, including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other hematologic conditions
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response needs
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and manage central lines, PICC lines, and other vascular access devices
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through meticulous feeding tube care, line management, and oxygen therapy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans, including stem cell transplants and CAR-T therapy

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical/telemetry and oncology experience, including transplant units
• BLS certification required; ACLS and ONS Chemotherapy Certification preferred
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and vascular line management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Heme-Onc experience strongly preferred
• Experience with autologous, allogeneic, and syngeneic transplants and CAR-T therapy
• Ability to adapt to rotating day/night schedules and respond to staffing needs promptly
