Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Intensive Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown units
- Monitor and respond to patient needs using remote telemetry and electronic health records
- Assist with patient preparation for procedures such as Endoscopy, IR, and OR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, team-oriented care in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and certification requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in med-surg, telemetry, or stepdown units
- Ability to work night shifts and sign up for 6 weekend shifts per schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CMSRN certification (encouraged)
- Leadership or charge nurse experience
- BSN degree
