• Full-time, 12-hour shifts, Days, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to critically ill patients across pediatric to geriatric populations based on AACN standards.
• Assess patient needs continuously and develop individualized plans of care, including discharge planning and appropriate referrals.
• Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening emergencies, cardiac arrhythmias, and other critical situations.
• Manage and prevent life-threatening complications related to airway, ventilation, hemodynamics, and heart rhythm.
• Maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills related to critical care practices, equipment, and current trends.
• Support and assist with specialized procedures such as temporary pacemaker insertion and ambulance transport as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Critical Care Nursing certification (e.g., CCRN preferred).
• Experience in ICU or critical care nursing preferred.
• Ability to handle complex and urgent patient situations with professionalism and competence.
• Knowledge of critical care equipment, ECG interpretation, and emergency procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC electronic medical record system experience (preferred due to upcoming transition from Meditech).
• Prior experience working in high-acuity ICU settings.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
