Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized ICU patient care in a fast-paced float pool environment.
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards during night shifts.
- Support temporary coverage needs across ICU units as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2+ years of ICU nursing experience.
- Ability to work night shifts and 12.5-hour shifts.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Float pool or travel nursing experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
