Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours per week), night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and efficient emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including those with STEMI, stroke, cancer, sepsis, and medical emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocol, including BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS standards.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including pass/fail EKG exams and timely documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required.
• EPIC electronic health record experience required.
• Experience with STEMI and stroke care protocols.
• Ability to handle special care populations including cancer, sepsis, and behavioral health patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a STEMI and stroke center.
• Familiarity with cath lab and women's health procedures.
• Ability to adapt to float across multiple hospital campuses as needed.
