- Full-time, day shifts, 12.5 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a hospital setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer treatments, including chemotherapy and other procedures as needed
- Monitor patient progress and respond to clinical changes promptly
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and confidentiality protocols
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or related fields
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in chemotherapy administration (chemo certification)
- Experience with procedures such as echo and thoracentesis
- Ability to quickly adapt to different medical situations and procedures
