Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing nursing processes within ICU, PCU, Med/Surg, and Pediatrics as needed.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs and responses.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocol.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Supervise LPNs and non-licensed personnel, ensuring quality care standards.
• Complete patient education and competency assessments according to unit standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of New Mexico or a Compact State.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or similar.
• NIHSS certification.
• Minimum of two years' current experience in a relevant specialty.
• Successful passing of onsite Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test (re-test allowed if necessary).
• Ability to float across departments and locations within 20 miles as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous 13-week travel assignment.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
