Full-time, nights shift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units, including medication administration and monitoring.
• Float to various units as needed, ensuring seamless care delivery across departments.
• Manage complex cardiac, respiratory, and infusion therapies such as insulin and cardiac drips.
• Perform starting IVs, post-cardiac cath care, and other invasive procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet patient needs and maintain safety standards.
• Document patient information accurately in the EPIC system and adhere to all hospital protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Active NY RN license on file.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (NIHSS required before start).
• Minimum of 1 year Telemetry experience.
• Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac cath care.
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of acute inpatient telemetry care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a float team.
