Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery in the PACU.
- Monitor patient vitals and status, ensuring safe recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Illinois license as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Experience working in a PACU or post-anesthesia care setting for at least 2 years.
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Flexibility to float as needed.
- Availability to work as needed on weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.
- Ability to respond to on-call calls within 30 minutes.
