Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process for an assigned group of patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Supervise LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel on duty.
• Assess patient needs, plan, implement, and evaluate care to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered treatment.
• Complete competency testing and adhere to protocols specific to the patient population and procedures.
  Required Qualifications:
• Current RN license in New Mexico or a compact state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications from recognized organizations (American Heart Association, Red Cross, etc.).
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in a large Emergency Department.
• Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
• Ability to pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test administered onsite.
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system (training available if needed).
• Flexible, team-oriented, and accustomed to fast-paced environments.
• Capable of floating between departments or locations within a 20-mile radius.
