Schedule / Job Type

• Travel Nursing, 12.5-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for telemetry patients on a high-acuity medical-surgical unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments such as tube feeds and antibiotics
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner)
• Follow unit policies, attend shift huddles, and maintain compliance with hospital guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or Compact State
• Minimum of 2 years of current med-surg or telemetry nursing experience
• BLS certification
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to assess patient acuity and escalate as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Experience with telemetry rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring
• Team-oriented attitude and flexibility to assist colleagues
