Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, nights only, rotating schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in an Intermediate Medical Care (IMC)/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown setting for patients with varying acuity levels
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to clinical changes, and document care appropriately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Adhere to infection prevention protocols and patient safety measures
- Support specialized units such as Oncology, Hematology, and Surgical Oncology as needed
- Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid state registered nursing license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-acuity PCU, IMC, or stepdown units
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting compliance prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology experience highly preferred but not required
- Familiarity with infection control and falls prevention protocols
- Experience working in a comprehensive cancer or tertiary care center
