• Registered Nurse - Orthopedic
Location
• Burlington, NC
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend, float required as needed, possible Charge RN shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult, geriatric, and orthopedic patients within a 29-bed unit
• Monitor patients receiving total joint replacements, fracture repairs, kyphoplasties, and other surgical procedures
• Manage telemetry monitoring and support physical therapy activities on the unit
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility requirements, including EKG testing and background verification
• Work as a Charge RN as needed to support patient care and unit operations
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel assignment experience preferred
• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina
• BLS certification
• Experience as a Charge RN
• EPIC electronic medical records experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior orthopedic nursing experience
• Float nursing experience across multiple units or facilities
