Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room environment for diverse surgical procedures.
• Assist with pre-operative preparations and post-operative patient care.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to all unit policies, safety guidelines, and best practices for surgical care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record system.
• BLS certification mandatory; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with trauma, vascular, or general surgical procedures.
• Ability to adapt to new technology and equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with an easy-going, self-motivated personality.
