Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, contract, nights (12-hour shifts), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Emergency Room setting, managing adult and pediatric patients
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently in Cerner electronic health records
• Adhere to all clinical protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois RN license in hand at time of submission
• A minimum of 18 months of ER experience (or as specified)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA or Red Cross only)
• Ability to work night shifts and on-call as required
• Strong charting skills and experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Must be able to pass background screening and compliance requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in high-volume or trauma ER settings
• Ability to float between different units or hospitals
• Experience with emergency or critical care nursing
