Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in a busy hospital ER setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic medical records system.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and documentation standards required for ER nursing.
• Flex to float within the hospital or to affiliated facilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois registered nursing license in good standing at time of submission.
• Minimum 18 months of ER nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, with AHA or Red Cross approval only.
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems, preferably Cerner.
• Ability to work scheduled night shifts and weekends with reliable attendance.
• Access to housing and ability to complete all compliance requirements prior to start date.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a combined adult/pediatric ER setting.
• Prior travel or float nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in high-pressure environments.
