Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Devils Lake, ND
Schedule / Job Type: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts (full-time)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Perform daily rounds to ensure quality care and coordinate patient needs effectively.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments, considering patients' physical, psychological, social, and educational needs.
• Monitor patient conditions, assess symptoms, and respond promptly to changes, including managing pain and recognizing early warning signs of deterioration.
• Assist with emergency interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Facilitate discharge planning through patient education and counseling, ensuring safe and informed transitions.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in North Dakota or a Compact State agreement.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• STABLE certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in labor and delivery or obstetric nursing.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and multidisciplinary team coordination in OB settings.
