Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Monitor patient health and vital signs, and document observations accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards
- Educate residents and their families on health management and post-discharge care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine
- Proven experience in LTC or SNF environments is preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate patient care skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with elderly or geriatric patient populations
- Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare regulations and documentation standards
