Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the ICU, PCU, or Stepdown units, focusing on cardiology patients including post-cath, stem cell, and structural heart cases
• Float to other units within the Central Pool as needed, including M/S or other progressive care areas
• Follow scheduled orientation sessions and adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and documentation requirements prior to starting
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities, including all employment gaps and work history information

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license on file at the time of assignment
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in PCU, Telemetry, or Stepdown nursing
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (NIHSS required prior to start)
• EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years
• Ability to float across units as needed and demonstrate flexibility with scheduling
• Reliable transportation, with personal or rental vehicle preferred, plus winter tires from November through April

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Large facility and teaching hospital experience
• Experience with post-catheterization, STEMI, and structural heart patients
