Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients within the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit.
- Assist with common procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately using EPIC or applicable systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient care.
- Float within the Ohio State University Medical Center as needed to support staffing requirements.
- Comply with hospital protocols and safety standards, including timely completion of credentialing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid compact or state nursing license in Ohio.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a PCU or similar unit.
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication system.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous charge RN experience.
- Hospital setting experience, especially in teaching hospitals.
- Experience with burn, plastic/reconstructive, urology, GYN, ENT, or oral/maxillofacial surgeries.
- Ability to work a 3-shift week schedule (3x12-hour shifts).

Additional Notes
- Shift hours are 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, with every other or third weekend required.
