Job Title

• Full-time, contract, nights shifts, approximately 16-32 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to adult ICU, ED, and NICU level III patients, with PICU experience preferred.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document all care provided accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment procedures.
• Adapt schedule flexibly to include weekends as needed, with no call responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Current RRT certification; CRT will not be accepted.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required; NRP required upon submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, including NICU levels.
• Epic electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years.
• Prior travel experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Experience working with adult ICU, ED, NICU (level III), and PICU.
• Well-documented employment history, including bed count, EMR systems, and facility type.
• Ability to provide reliable transportation as public transit is not accessible.

Additional Notes

• Shift length: 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week.
• Travel rates vary by distance; $105 for 51-100 miles, $95 for 50 miles or less, based on straight-line measurement.

• All work history details, including bed count, EMR, and facility type, are required for application submission.
• The facility is located in Burlington, VT; reliable personal transportation or rental vehicle is strongly recommended for commuting during November through April.
