Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals in the intermediate care, progressive care, or stepdown units.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and implement care plans according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Respond promptly to patient needs andEmergency situations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
- Experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior CV surgery, vascular surgery, or thoracic surgical unit experience.
- Telemetry monitoring experience.
- Experience with complex cardiac procedures and medication management.
