Schedule / Job Type

• Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and responding to patient emergencies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Observe and record patient conditions, reporting significant changes to the medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete required assessments such as ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate during orientation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent ICU/critical care experience prior to travel assignments.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHHS certifications.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screens within specified timeframes.
• Must meet travel compliance requirements, including Qualivis submission, reference, and module completion.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced ICU environment.
• Strong assessment and patient monitoring skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team in high-pressure situations.
