Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity labor and delivery care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Circulate and support patients during delivery, including post-delivery newborn care such as eyes, thighs, assessments, and injections.
- Monitor fetal well-being via electronic fetal monitoring and collaborate with OB team on patient management.
- Support patients with diagnoses related to midwifery, OB, substance recovery, and community care clinics.
- Float to sister facilities supporting Mother/Baby units as needed.
- Maintain compliance with staffing guidelines, including working every other weekend and holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of RN experience in high-risk, high-acuity labor and delivery settings.
- Current valid license to practice as a registered nurse.
- Proof of required certifications (BLS, NRP).
- Demonstrated experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EPIC hard stop), neonatal care, and medication protocols such as Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate.
- Must have current supervision references and prove of all required certifications with submission.
- Ability to circulate during deliveries and provide neonatal assessments and care.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate certifications.
- Experience working in environments supporting midwifery, private OB practices, or recovery services.
- Familiarity with high-risk obstetrics and fast-paced clinical environments.
