• Full-time, outpatient, full-time hours, travel position

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement physical therapy care for assigned patients.
• Gather patient data, interpret results, and set measurable, realistic goals in collaboration with physicians.
• Conduct assessments independently for various patient types, mainly orthopedic and some neurological cases.
• Recognize additional patient needs during evaluation and exercise judgment when requesting further testing.
• Regularly reassess patient progress following departmental and regulatory policies.
• Educate patients and families on appropriate equipment and treatment plans.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Doctorate preferred.
• Valid license as a Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) in Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
• Ability to work day shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in outpatient therapy.
• Experience in orthopedic and neurological physical therapy.
