• Full-time, night shifts (12-hour shifts, 19:00 - 07:30), rotating weekends, contract position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients on a Med Surg Oncology unit, managing various diagnoses including solid tumors and blood cancers
• Care for a high-acuity patient population, with responsibilities including infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Utilize equipment such as telemetry monitors, bladder scanners, infusion pumps, and PCA pumps
• Collaborate with team members and participate in self-scheduling requests to meet department staffing needs
• Follow unit policies, including adherence to infection prevention and fall prevention protocols

Required Qualifications

• Valid compact or state nursing license in hand at the time of submission
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience preferred (not required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Oncology or Med Surg experience with a focus on high-acuity care
• Willingness to complete a 2-day chemo certification course for professional development

Additional Notes

• Strict compliance with Ohio fingerprinting process required; candidates must complete fingerprinting immediately after signing contract
• Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity level
• Travel compliance deadline enforced; only submit candidates without vacation plans immediately after booking
• RTO (time off) requests must be included at submission and built into the contract
• Only one submission per candidate; candidates must meet credentialing and licensure requirements prior to start
