• Full-time, rotating 3x12-hour evening shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM), Monday through Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MRI scans including Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest, Head and Neck, Musculoskeletal, and Spine cases
• Operate advanced MRI equipment for specialized procedures such as MR Angiograms, MRV, and other vascular imaging
• Ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety during MRI procedures
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate within scope to meet departmental needs, including occasional floating to nearby hospitals
• Complete required documentation promptly using Cerner electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Valid Illinois MRI license in hand upon submission
• ARRT-MR certification preferred
• Proficiency in abdominal, cardiovascular, chest, head and neck, musculoskeletal, and spine MRI procedures
• Experience with specialized imaging techniques such as diffusion, perfusion, MRA, MRV, and surface coils
• Cerner charting experience required
• Must be in IL at least 3 business days prior to compliance requirements for fingerprinting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I trauma center experience
• Prior experience with trauma or acute care hospitals
• Ability to work in a magnet and Level I trauma facility environment
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed

Additional Notes

• Floating within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals is 100% required for all travelers
• RTO requests of up to 5 days (non-holiday) are subject to facility approval
• Shifts may be canceled up to 36 hours without pay; on-call duty required as needed
• Must complete all required modules and documentation prior to start
• First day is virtual, at-home orientation day
• Lab appointments, fingerprinting, and badge photo required within one week of start date
