• Full-time, Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, including monitoring and managing cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Administer medications, including blood products, and manage IV lines and central lines such as PICC and arterial lines.
• Assist with procedures such as port access, chest tube insertion/removal, and use of advanced equipment like B450 monitors and GE telemetry systems.
• Promote patient safety through infection control protocols and fall prevention strategies.
• Document patient care accurately within electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nurse experience.
• Valid ? Ohio or Compact State RN license at the time of submission.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working with oncology and chemotherapy patients preferred.
• Knowledge of high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and advanced patient monitoring.

Additional Notes

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Candidate must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon signing the contract due to compliance deadlines.
• RTO (Time Off Requests) must be submitted with the application and included in the contract.
• All candidates must provide two professional references, including at least one from a leadership role.
