Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care within medical-surgical units, monitoring and assessing patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain complete medical records.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and contribute to a safe and healing environment.
- Float to appropriate units as necessary, within licensure and demonstrated competencies.
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
- Valid CPR/BLS certification.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS preferred based on unit requirements.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating requirements.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in medical-surgical settings.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and patient care standards.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
