Travel contract, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide palliative care focusing on symptom management and quality of life for patients with serious illnesses.
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels as needed.
- Support patients with uncontrolled pain, severe nausea, fatigue, and other symptoms to enhance comfort and well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate end-of-life and symptom management care.
- Complete required documentation and adhere to all compliance protocols, including fingerprinting and credentialing processes.
- Ensure timely completion of all onboarding and credentialing prerequisites prior to assignments start date.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state or compact RN license in hand at time of submission.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably including travel or acute care.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
- Ability to float across units with similar or lower acuity levels.
- Successful completion of Ohio fingerprinting and background check by the specified deadline.
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited program.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred.
- Familiarity with end-of-life and palliative care settings.
- Ability to adapt to a new unit environment quickly.
