• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, travel assignment, 13-week duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients in a hospital setting.
• Support patient-centered birth experiences, promoting vaginal delivery options and patient choice.
• Assist with procedures including circulating in OR, IUPC, fetal monitoring, magnesium sulfate, postpartum hemorrhage management, nitrous oxide administration, and more.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including midwives and CRNAs, to ensure high-quality maternal and newborn care.
• Support unit policies and procedures, including documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain a patient experience score above 75%.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee or appropriate state.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Ability to perform advanced skills such as fetal monitoring and support during labor.
• Drive to deliver exceptional care and support patient preferences for birthing options.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with spinning babies techniques; STABLE certification.
• Familiarity with postpartum and couplet care.
• Comfortable working with electronic documentation systems such as Meditech and JADA.
• Prior experience working in a high-acuity maternity unit with NICU support.
