Job Title
• Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Location
• Lawton, OK

Schedule / Job Type
• Days, Part-time (1 shift per week)

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct patient assessments, including interviews, bedside checks, and lung capacity evaluations.
• Administer treatments such as aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy, and maintain airway management.
• Set up, monitor, and manage artificial ventilation for ICU or life support patients.
• Respond to emergencies with procedures like intubation and CPR as part of rapid response teams.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests.
• Educate patients and families on managing chronic lung conditions and using home medical equipment.

Required Qualifications
• Valid respiratory therapist license/certification.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with ventilator management and emergency response.
• Knowledge of blood gas and pulmonary function testing.
• Ability to educate and communicate effectively with patients and families.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with advanced respiratory equipment and protocols.
• Bilingual abilities a plus.
