Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
• Cover rotating shifts, including day and night hours, with a minimum of every other holiday required.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms accurately.
• Complete assessments such as ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate during orientation.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including compliance with all required certifications and licensure.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• At least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel.
• Valid Ohio or Compact State nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
• Active American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Minimum of one managerial or supervisory reference in the relevant specialty.
• Compliance with immunization and drug screening requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume hospital environment.
• Prior travel or temporary staffing experience in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic health record systems and documentation.
